Rami Khalid Alturki is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Khalid Ali Alturki & Sons Holding Company (Alturki Holding). Operating in Saudi Arabia since 1975, Alturki Holding’s subsidiaries and joint venture companies are focused specifically on the building materials, infrastructure, information and communication technologies, industrial, energy, transportation and real-estate sectors in Saudi Arabia and neighboring Arab countries. In this capacity, Mr. Alturki holds directorship and chairmanship positions in Alturki’s various holdings. In addition, Rami is the CEO of Saudi Readymix, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alturki Holding and the largest supplier of concrete products in Saudi Arabia. Previously, Rami was a member of the board of Saudi Enaya Insurance Company, which is listed on the Saudi stock exchange for two consecutive terms and chaired it’s nomination & remuneration Committee.
Rami has recently been appointed by the Saudi Council of Ministers as a board member of Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), and he is also an active member of various committees and councils within Saudi Arabia’s Chambers of Commerce including being the Chairman of the National Committee for Ready-mixed Concrete at the Council of Saudi Chambers, ex-member of the Industrial Committee at Asharqia Chamber, and a board member of the US-Saudi business council. He was a member of the national Industrial Committee at Saudi Chambers Counsel plus he was a member of the environment committee at Asharqia Chamber. Rami is also member of the Young Presidents Organization’s Saudi Chapter.
As an advocate of human development, Rami is the Chairman and a founding board member of Endeavor Saudi Arabia, a non-profit organization that supports high-impact entrepreneurs. Rami is a member of the Advisory Board of Dhahran Ahliyya Schools, a non-profit school dedicated to providing excellence in education and to contribute to the development of Arab education on a wider scale. Rami was recently selected to join Saudi Food Bank (ITAAM). He was also a Board member of the Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic Institute (SPSP). He is a founding member of the Board of Trustees of Mentor Arabia, a non-government non-profit organization that was established in the Middle East to promote awareness and prevention of drug abuse amongst the region’s youth. Apart from this, Rami is a member of the Board of the Eastern Province Society for the Disabled (EFAA). He is also a founding member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Forum for Environment and Development (AFED), a non-profit NGO that is focused on promoting prudent environmental policies and programs across the Arab region. And a member of Advisory Committee of Education for employment (EFE).
Rami holds a BA degree in Economics from Williams College, Williamstown, MA in the United States.
