Sherif El Saadani
Before joining Alturki, Mr. El Saadani practiced in law firms in Cairo and London since 2003. He is admitted before the Egyptian Courts of Appeal. Mr. El Saadani read law at the Cairo University (LL.B., 2003), the American University in Cairo (LL.M., 2008) and Harvard Law School (LL.M., 2010).
He is a former Visiting Scholar at the Institute for Foreign and International Economic Law, University of Heidelberg (Germany) (2004) and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law, UNIDROIT (Italy) (2007). He is published in the Freiburg Law Students Journal (Freiburg, 2006), the Uniform Law Review (Rome, 2008) and the Leipziger Beiträge zur Orientforschung (Leipzig, 2014).
He is founding member of the Young Arbitration Practitioners Forum (CRCICA YAPF) at the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration, since 2008, affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London, since 2010, and co-founder of the Association for Egyptian Affairs in London, since 2012.
