Even in spurting health organization we aim to look to the learning process where Alturki can contribute. With efaa we are one of the funders and board member. And for Smile Train we are a cofounder in the Middle east.

Smile Train 2016 - Now

Vision: A world where everyone has access to safe high-quality comprehensive cleft care and is able to live a full and healthy life.

Smile Train is an international children’s charity with a sustainable approach to a single, solvable problem: cleft lip and palate. For 21 years, Smile Train has provided safe and high-quality cleft care for more than 1.5 million children around the world completely free of charge. Smile Train also provides essential treatments beyond cleft surgery, including nutrition programs, orthodontic and dental care, speech therapy, and social and emotional support.

A cleft surgery allows a child to eat, speak and breath properly. It gives a child the opportunity to live a full productive life.

Alturki supports Smile Train in the Middle East (Afghanistan, Egypt, Pakistan, and the Palestinian Territories). In 2019 our support help to perform more than 600 surgeries and change the life of several children and family members.

The association provides many services for people with disabilities with specialized medical arms in an integrated manner in many aspects (psychological and social rehabilitation, physical therapy rehabilitation - speech - functional, physical and vocational rehabilitation, educational, support services and prosthetic devices through Center limbs and splints).

Samara cares for people with disabilities

Through our subsidiary, Samara, we provide specialized cars to cater to the needs of people with physical disabilities; these vehicles were all fully booked for the year. We do not make a profit out of this service and look to increase the volume of these cars to serve a larger number of deserving customers.
