Alturki Holding and its subsidiaries have obtained the Prevention of the Spread of Infection (POSI-Check) certification for conforming to the highest safety and hygiene standards. The certification was conferred by Intertek Cristal, a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, after a successful audit of the premises of the Holding company and its subsidiaries.
POSI-Check is an industry-agnostic audit solution to help in the prevention of the spread of infection, by guiding businesses to ensure and demonstrate compliance with best health and safety standards, while also educating and training the workforce towards prevention and management of potential spread of infections at offices and worksites.
The Holding employees also participated in training sessions focused on implementing best safety and hygiene standards at work and employees’ own houses/ residential units.
Stressing on the importance of the initiative, Mr. Anas Aljuraifani, corporate communications and sustainability director at Alturki Holding said, “Maintaining the highest standards in health, hygiene, and safety is a top priority for us. The recent COVID-19 pandemic lent the impetus for us to put in strong efforts to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our people: the employees, stakeholders, clients, and all those associated with us.”
He further added the POSI-Check safety certification demonstrates the Holding’s commitment towards ensuring a sound environment optimized for engagement and productivity by implementing the necessary standards and processes.
Acting as the seal of worksite safety, the certification implements protocols that manage and measure the effectiveness of hygiene standards at any point and verify that premises of the Holding and subsidiaries are ready to prevent and manage infections such as norovirus, coronaviruses, gastroenteritis, and any other infectious disease.
