Based on our commitment to human development, one of our pillars that promotes the concept of contributing and volunteering to benefit society and the world, Alturki Holding sponsored the International Volunteer Day (IVD), in partnership with various government and private sector entities, as well as the voluntary charitable sector to emphasis our commitment to our mission. The ceremony was held on Thursday December 6th, 2018 under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, and was organized by the General Directorate of Civil Defense at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Center for Science and Technology (Scitech) in Al Khobar.
During the ceremony, Major General Rashid bin Saleh Al Marri affirmed that the Eastern Province’s General Directorate of Civil Defense is making efforts to attract volunteers and facilitate necessary procedures to build mutual trust between the Civil Defense and all of society’s members. The Major General noted that anyone interested in volunteering with the Civil Defense Volunteer Team may visit the Civil Defense Portal, and easily submit the volunteering application.
