Alturki Holding announced the signing of a sponsorship agreement with the Association for the Development and Rehabilitation of Girls in the Eastern Province (Ofoq), to support a specialized training program aimed at qualifying 15 young women in aerial photography using drone technologies. The initiative seeks to enhance their skills and enable them to enter the labor market with competence.

The program is a specialized training initiative that combines both theoretical and practical components to develop Saudi female talent in aerial photography, supporting market needs, employment opportunities, and entrepreneurship, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.

The program spans three weeks, with a total of 27 training hours, and attracts talents aged between 18 and 35 across the Eastern Province, including Dammam, Khobar, Al-Ahsa, and Qatif, expanding the initiative’s reach to a broader segment of the community.

The program also delivers measurable outcomes, including equipping 80% of participants with professional drone operation and aerial photography skills, and achieving 100% hands-on project execution during the training period.

The rapid adoption of aerial imaging technologies across sectors such as media, infrastructure, and events highlights the importance of developing specialized talent capable of keeping pace with this growth and meeting evolving market needs.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Rami Alturki, President and CEO of Alturki Holding, said: “We see at Alturki Holding the importance of investing in national talent and empowering women to actively participate in emerging sectors. This initiative reflects our commitment to building meaningful partnerships that develop skills and connect them to real economic opportunities, enhancing the readiness of national talent for future demands.”

In the short term, the program will enhance participants’ capabilities and contribute qualified female talent to the labor market. Over the long term, it is expected to create a sustainable impact by generating employment and entrepreneurial opportunities, while supporting the national economy within a growing technology-driven sector.

This collaboration comes as part of the “Athar” Program initiatives, reflecting the Group’s interest in supporting community initiatives that focus on women’s empowerment.
