In a step that reflects the commitment of Alturki Holding’s subsidiaries to adopting sustainable practices and enhancing the efficiency of industrial operations, Inma Steel, one of Alturki Holding’s companies, announced the launch of a structured energy performance program in partnership with Musanadah Facilities Management Company. The program is delivered through advanced industrial diagnostics, data analytics, and digital engineering capabilities brought together through Musanadah’s collaboration with CoolPlanet, which operates in KSA through its partnership with Musanadah. This initiative forms part of Inma Steel’s ongoing efforts to assess energy-intensive operational processes, with the aim of enhancing production efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

The partnership initiates a structured, engineering-led energy performance program designed to develop a verified operational baseline, identify system-level optimization opportunities, and enhance production efficiency through advanced diagnostics and data analytics. The initiative supports Inma Steel’s 2030 target of achieving a 55% reduction in energy intensity while strengthening operational reliability and environmental performance.

The first phase will include a Metering Gap Analysis, establishment of a verified energy baseline, and activation of real-time carbon emissions monitoring mechanisms. These steps form the technical foundation for a long-term performance roadmap aligned with industrial best practices and structured capital planning.

Commenting on the partnership, Eng. Badr Alshathry, Chairman of the Board of Musanadah Facilities Management and Inma Steel, said: “At Alturki Holding, we believe that sustainability is an integrated journey that begins with well-informed, data-driven steps. Inma Steel’s signing of this partnership reflects our companies’ commitment to adopting practical solutions that enhance operational efficiency and deliver positive environmental impact.”

In turn, Mr. Marwan Younis, Managing Director of Inma Steel, stated: “This partnership represents a fundamental step in Inma Steel’s journey toward enhancing energy efficiency and reducing emissions across our operations. Through our collaboration with CoolPlanet, and with the support of Musanadah company, we aim to adopt practical, data-driven solutions that contribute to improved operational performance and support the transition toward more sustainable production.”

Mr. Nigel Wright, Managing Director of Musanadah, added: “Through advanced engineering diagnostics and structured real-time monitoring, this partnership enables Inma Steel to build a robust operational intelligence framework. By combining CoolPlanet’s international industrial expertise with Musanadah’s local engineering expertise, we aim to strengthen performance visibility, improve energy intensity, and support informed capital decisions across energy-intensive operations.”

This step embodies Alturki Holding’s approach to supporting its subsidiaries in adopting responsible practices and building strategic partnerships that contribute to the development of the industrial sector, enhance efficiency, and support the transition toward a more sustainable future in the Kingdom.
