April 2018: The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) had awarded Saudi Readymix’s Mortar Division its “Quality Mark” for the Company’s mortar products MOONA Dry-Mix Mortar & LIYASSA Dry-Mix Plaster.
MOONA is the Company’s masonry mortar, whereas LIYASSA is its plastering mortar. Both products are delivered in pre-mixed dry form to project sites in either bags or bulk; at the project sites, they are mixed with water and applied by special silo systems and spray machines.
The Quality Mark is an important means to guide consumers to products that conform to Saudi standards. It supports the national economy, increases the competitiveness of Saudi products in the local and international markets and increases Saudi exports. The Quality Mark certification was granted by SASO following a conformity assessment of the quality levels maintained at Saudi Readymix covering technical procedures, product consistency, and quality control, among other areas.

Saudi Readymix is the leading ready-mixed concrete supplier in Saudi Arabia with a network of over 36 factories located in various strategic locations throughout the Kingdom and employs around 2,800 employees and runs the largest fleet of mobile equipment in the region. The Company established a new advanced dry-mixed mortar plant in the Eastern region in 2016. The Company has also recently opened its new state-of-the-art Research and Development Center at Eastern Province in Dammam city.
