Alturki Holding signed an MOU with Et’aam, the Saudi food bank charity society to distribute food packets among the needy during the holy month of Ramadan, as part of its CSR.
As per the agreement, Alturki will donate food packets, and provide volunteers as well to make the food packets, under two initiatives. A dedicated link will be created on the Et’aam online store, to enable Alturki employees to buy and donate “food baskets”.
The second initiative will engage Alturki employees as volunteers for the packing of food items for the “food baskets” to be donated in line with the company’s PERFORM value to create meaning through shared responsibility and giving back to the society in which it works and interacts with.
The company takes the holy month as a yearly opportunity to recognize initiatives that require their support, thus discovering new opportunities for value creation and have a lasting and sustainable impact across the Kingdom.
Faisal Al Shoushan, CEO of Et’aam, said the partnership with Et’aam reiterates Alturki Holding’s commitment to support organizations that create a sustainable positive impact in the community. “We commend Alturki Holding for supporting our cause to provide the necessary resources and ensuring supply of food for those in need during the holy month of Ramadan,” he added.
