With the support of Alturki Holding, the Autism Families Association has launched its comprehensive “Behavior & Empowerment” program in the Eastern Province. The initiative is designed to train and prepare young people with autism for suitable employment opportunities through a six-month journey.
The program combines essential and professional skill development with psychological and social support, within a holistic framework that assesses individual abilities and vocational interests. This enables participants to reach advanced stages of readiness, empowering them to secure jobs that enhance both their independence and quality of life.
The initiative includes five progressive tracks: vocational training, psychological support, family counseling, specialized workshops, and youth cultural activities—each contributing to skill development and preparing participants for integration into the workplace and society.
It also focuses on addressing behavioral challenges that may hinder social inclusion or employment opportunities, while equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to enter the labor market with confidence and competence.
His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Farhan Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, expressed his pride in launching the program in the Eastern Province, noting that it represents a strategic step in the association’s ongoing mission to empower individuals with autism to integrate effectively into society and the job market. He stated: “Through this unique program, we aim to create an integrated framework that goes beyond vocational training to include guidance, support, and diverse activities. Our goal is to help young people with autism overcome challenges and unlock promising future opportunities.”
His Highness also highlighted the importance of partnerships with the private sector, praising the collaboration with Alturki Holding as an inspiring model of community engagement that supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in empowering people with disabilities and improving their quality of life.
Concluding his remarks, His Highness emphasized that the Autism Families Association remains committed to advancing social and professional inclusion for young people with autism, believing in their potential as valuable contributors to national development.
From his side, Mr. Rami Alturki, President and CEO of Alturki Holding, reaffirmed the company’s support for the “Behavior & Empowerment” program, reflecting Alturki Holding’s deep commitment to social responsibility and its role in empowering a cherished segment of society. He said: “We are proud of our partnership with the Autism Families Association, and through this program, we aim to support youth with autism on their journey through career rehabilitation—aligned with Vision 2030’s focus on enhancing quality of life and enabling people with disabilities to play an active role in development.”
It is worth noting that the program concluded its first cycle in Riyadh with the graduation of 16 young people with autism, who successfully completed their vocational training, integrated into society and the labor market, and secured real job opportunities through collaborations with various partners.
