As part of its unwavering commitment to shaping a prosperous and sustainable future, Alturki Holding continues to support its flagship “Athar” Program, which aims to support, sustain, and develop community initiatives by focusing on 4 main aspects: women empowerment, education development, supporting health and well-being, and youth empowerment. The program solidifies Alturki Holding’s role as a cornerstone of community engagement and sustainable development in Saudi Arabia. The "Athar" Program embodies the company’s commitment to empowering the community by supporting community development initiatives and organizations, while expanding strategic and impactful partnerships with specialized institutions to enrich the four key focus areas of the program. The program's tangible impact is highlighted by its support of 14 organizations in four key areas that are closely linked to sustainable development and social inclusion.

Driven by the belief that collaboration is the foundation of meaningful change, Alturki Holding has established strategic alliances with leading non-profit organizations, including Ta’alum Association, Jana Center, Ertiqa Organization, Efaa, and Ratq. These partnerships generate meaningful outcomes through a cohesive network of expertise and resources, amplifying the program’s reach and supporting its core objectives and helps achieve its core objectives of promoting quality of education, empowering youth, supporting health and social welfare initiatives to improve the quality of life for the local community, and finally, promoting the active role of women in society.

In 2024, Athar focused on addressing critical challenges in key areas, including:

• Education: The program strengthened its support of diverse educational programs such as Braille training for the visually impaired, robotics workshops for children, and family counseling programs for former inmates, providing meaningful opportunities for learning that cater to diverse needs, ensuring every individual has the tools to succeed and grow.
• Women’s Empowerment: Empowering programs that enable women in business and fields of micro entrepreneurship to enhance their participation in the economy and provide all facilities to start and develop their professional businesses through partnerships with organizations like Jana Center and building leadership skills through initiatives with Sana Charity. Additionally, the program amplified the efforts of Joud Charity via the Talaatna Program to inspire and uplift women in their professional careers.
• Youth Development: Supporting initiatives that highlight the potential of youth through partnerships with Misk, providing funding for non-profit ideas, and expanding opportunities in fields like CSR to develop future leaders and pioneers.
• Health and Well-being: Echoing the voices of key organizations such as Sanad and Efaa to raise awareness on critical issues like cancer and disabilities. The program also provided life-altering machines and direct support to those in need, helping improve the quality of life for underserved populations.

The support for these programs was thoughtfully considered in alignment with our strategic pillars, enabling the community and empowering individuals to shape a brighter future.

The impact of Athar highlights its tangible impact. The program supported 14 organizations in four key areas linked to sustainable development and social inclusion, enabling Alturki to serve more than 2,380 members of the community over one year.
