Sawafi Levare Opens New ESP Center at SPARK Supporting Saudi Vision 2030

King Salman Energy Park (SPARK), Saudi Arabia, June 17, 2025, Sawafi Levare has inaugurated  its new Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) Service and  Manufacturing Center, a significant milestone in advancing the localization of Saudi Arabia’s energy and enhancing operational self-reliance Strategically located in King Salman Energy Park (SPARK), this state-of-the-art, full-cycle facility offers comprehensive ESP manufacturing, diagnostics, servicing, and repair. It is well-positioned to support the upstream sector through advanced technologies and a highly skilled workforce.

Facility Highlights:

  • Annual production capacity of 500 ESP systems.
  • It serves more than 1000 wells in Zuluf, Khurais, Safaniyah, and KJO.
  • Supported by a team of over 100, with 60% Saudi nationals.
  • Fully compliant with Saudi Aramco’s quality, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
  • A direct contributor to the In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) program and the broader goals of Saudi Vision 2030

The ESP Service & Manufacturing Center is a fully automated, state-of-the-art facility delivering localized solutions aligned with international standards. Every aspect — from  system assembly and component repair to advanced diagnostics and factory acceptance testing, is optimized for efficiency, quality, and uptime, ensuring reliable support the Kingdom’s most critical energy infrastructure.

Powering People & Productivity

The center is staffed by a diverse and experienced team, with over 60% Saudi nationals, serving as a dynamic hub for talent development. Team members benefit from comprehensive training programs , including the FOCUS competency framework, Coursera learning paths, and hands-on training at EnergyTech (formerly SPSP).
