Syed is a dynamic, results-oriented finance management professional with more than 25 years of experience handling all aspects of financial accounting, treasury management, taxation, budgeting and auditing.
In his more than 10 years with the Alturki Group, Syed has held numerous finance positions in several organizations including Treasury Manager of the Alturki Group and Manager of Finance and Accounting at AES International Consultants and at Alturki Real Estate. Prior to coming to the Alturki Group, he was a senior finance manager for Agility in Kuwait and an accounts manager for the Zamil Group Holding Company.
He is a U.S. Certified Management Accountant and U.S. Certified Treasury Professional, holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounts & Income Tax from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India, and has a diploma in Islamic Finance from Chartered Institute of Global Accountants (CIMA) in the United Kingdom. He is a longstanding member of the U.S.-based Institute of Management Accountants.
